Sorry, We're Away for a Bit!

Update, as of Wednesday 23rd February: It's A Date is open again, temporarily with shortened business hours for the last part of Lyndsay's surgery recovery process! We will be available (and answering emails as quickly as we can) between 12-3pm daily until further notice - thanks for your understanding (and kind messages!)

Just a quick note to let you know I will be shutting It's A Date's shutters for a few days whilst I pop into the hospital for a very routine and hopefully stress-free operation! Recovery times vary, as always, but it's my hope that the following few days of reading glossy magazines and books (that are now movies) in my PJs ALL DAY will bring on a very speedy return to form, just in time for the busy week we have scheduled next week (ahh, wedding season)!

Long story short, don't despair if you email me/us and there is no reply (other than the first ever Auto-Responder I just set up, are ARs super dorky and antiquated?! I just couldn't bear to have nothing to explain the radio silence...) It won't be long and things will be back to normal!

For now, I leave you with a stunning picture from the recent Anthropology line BHLDN launch - currently flitting it's way through the wedding blog universe - you may have heard lots of wistful sighing lately! Of course, I love a pretty dress as much as the next person, but I was even more enamored by the styling of the paper in the background: their decorations line is launching in the Northern Hemisphere's Spring, which I believe is only a few weeks away - very good news indeed. I'm left wondering if I can attempt a similar look in the meantime with some plain white paper decorations and some cold tea... Enjoy!
