DIY Service Station Numbers
I've been watching a lot of The Block (go team Jenna and Josh!), and I was inspired to hunt down some vintage "service station numbers" (or gas station numbers, petrol station numbers) for our house - the ones that get changed according to the price of fuel that day. I was a little inhibited by the price and scarcity of these cool fixtures of industrial/eclectic decor, so I decided to have a go at making my own, as placeholders til I stumbled upon the real thing.

Above: Jenna and Josh's use of numbers in their recent bedroom renovation, via The Block galleries.
Such a fun and easy project. It's inspired me to make more, maybe smaller, maybe different colours, as table numbers (or similar), and to place in other vignettes around our home. Do you think you would use an industrial touch to your event decor?
If you're also digging the look, I've dedicated a Pinterest board to my 'research' into vintage signage.

Love it... I'm all over this industrial signage right now!
