An Update and New Projects!
(My poor neglected blog - sorry to have abandoned you since August!)
Just in case you've missed the updates on Facebook and Twitter, I've been uploading lots of new projects lately! I usually blog about them straight after I upload them but for some reason, I've missed this step, repeatedly. Catch up class! Let's see what I've been up to...
Zalie's 1st Birthday Party Invitation (and party items)
We designed an invitation that had a little birthday candle attached to the front, and folded in a mini-concertina (in the shape of a "Z" for Zalie). I also designed a few other goodies for Zalie: a banner, party bags and hats.
Annabel and Gareth's Save The Date
I illustrated this vintage/throwback postcard for a romantic wedding in Italy - I'm about to start designing their full suite, and I tell you, it's tough work, looking at pictures of Italy all day (and Vanuatu, but that's another story and another invitation!)
Patrick's 1st Birthday Invitation
A favourite from my childhood, and evidently, a favourite of little Patrick's! Illustrating the Hungry Caterpillar was very fun!
Loren and Greg's Wedding Invitation Suite
An invite for my friends Loren and Greg - this was their engagement/wedding present! It spins! The actual event was a few weeks ago and ... oh boy, the styling was AMAZING (not by me, just in case you thought I was getting a bit too big for my boots!) - I am really hoping to feature it, I will need to ask Loren nicely when she returns from her honeymoon!

Joanna and Martin's Wedding Invitation Suite
Music themed, book invite - seriously, the most fun I've had in ages designing a suite, I didn't want it to end. I go into a LOT of detail about the project in my portfolio. Keep your fingers crossed for me that they may like a second wedding to each other in say, two or three years. Lots and lots of day of items to keep me happy!
Preparing for a few late-spring/early-summer weddings and birthdays at the moment and then it will be the holidays, oh boy, time is just flying by! Hope it's flying by in a good type of way for you too!

Wow Lyndsay I am absolutely loving each one of these jobs! Each one is so unique and beautifully put together, the books especially are incredible! I can only imagine the time put into each one!! Great update :) x
